Alumni Meet 2023-24

The Alumni Meet for the academic year 2023-24 was held at Saint John’s Academy on December 15, 2023. It was a delightful event that brought together alumni, staff, and current students to reminisce, celebrate, and strengthen the bonds that connect us.

The event commenced with a warm welcome by the Principal, Dr. Zareen Rizvi. She shared her thoughts on the importance of alumni in the growth and development of the institution. Dr. Rizvi emphasized the role of alumni as ambassadors of the school’s values and ideals. Her inspiring words set a positive tone for the event.

Director Mr. CV Innes played a significant role during the event by presenting the latest edition of the School Journal to the alumni. The Journal showcases the school’s achievements, academic progress, and contributions to society. In addition to the Journal, Mr. Innes presented momentos to alumni, recognizing their outstanding achievements in various fields. This gesture was met with appreciation and gratitude from the recipients.

One of the most anticipated segments of the Alumni Meet was the limited cricket match played between the Alumni and the current School Staff. The match was filled with excitement and friendly competition. The Staff put up a commendable performance and emerged victorious. It was a great display of sportsmanship and camaraderie.

Following the cricket match, a delicious dinner was organized for all attendees. This provided an opportunity for everyone to mingle, share stories, and reconnect with old friends and teachers. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and nostalgia as attendees reminisced about their school days.
