St. John’s Academy Successfully Hosts Fr. George Hess Memorial Quiz Competition 2026

Prayagraj, August 1, 2026: St. John’s Academy, Prayagraj, successfully hosted the ASISC Fr. George Hess Memorial Quiz Competition for the Prayagraj Zone on Saturday, 1st August 2026. The event brought together talented young quizzers from eight prominent schools of the city, who competed in the Sub-Junior, Junior, and Senior categories.

The participating schools were Girls’ High School & College, St. Joseph’s College, A.M. Oxford Public School, Bishop Johnson School & College, Srinivasa Ramanujan Public School, St. John’s Co-Ed. School, St. Joseph’s Girls’ College, and St. John’s Academy.

The competition witnessed an impressive display of knowledge, confidence, and teamwork, making it a memorable academic event.

The winners were:

• Sub-Junior Category: Winners – Girls’ High School & College; Runners-up – Srinivasa Ramanujan Public School.
• Junior Category: Winners – St. John’s Co-Ed. School; Runners-up – St. Joseph’s College.
• Senior Category: Winners – St. Joseph’s College; Runners-up – St. John’s Co-Ed. School.

The winning teams from all three categories have qualified to represent the Prayagraj Zone at the Regional Fr. George Hess Memorial Quiz Competition, scheduled to be held at St. Joseph’s Academy, Dehradun, on 22nd August 2026.

The Principal and the organizing committee of St. John’s Academy congratulated all the participants for their spirited performance and extended their best wishes to the winning teams for success at the regional level.
