Saint John’s Academy Students Shine at Inter-School Debate Competition at SJC
Saint John’s Academy is proud to announce the outstanding performance of its students, Mansi Pathak and Indrani Bhattacharya (Class XI), at the Inter-School Debate Competition held at St. Joseph’s College (SJC), Prayagraj, on April 26, 2025.
The competition, organized in memory of Late KPS Chauhan, a respected former faculty member of SJC, saw participation from various esteemed institutions. The event was graced by the initiative of Hon’ble Mrs. Justice Manju Rani Chauhan, Judge, High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, and an alumna of St Mary’s Convent Prayagraj, who organized the event as a tribute to her father’s contributions to education.
Mansi Pathak and Indrani Bhattacharya represented Saint John’s Academy in Group 2, which focused on the topic: “The Legacy of Great Scientist: Science must be driven by curiosity and not commercial interest.”
Both students demonstrated exceptional debating skills and critical thinking. Mansi Pathak secured the Second Best Speaker award, while Indrani Bhattacharya was awarded Best Speaker Against the Motion. Their combined efforts also earned them the Second Best Team Award.
Saint John’s Academy congratulates Mansi Pathak and Indrani Bhattacharya on their remarkable achievements and extends its appreciation to St. Joseph’s College for hosting such an enriching and intellectually stimulating event.
