The young literary talents of Saint John’s Academy showcased their creativity and brilliance at the prestigious ASISC Inter-School Creative Writing Competition (Zonal Level) hosted by St. Joseph’s College, Prayagraj on Thursday, 7th May, 2026.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from eight reputed schools across three categories — Sub-Junior (Classes VI–VIII), Junior (Classes IX–X), and Senior (Classes XI–XII). The event provided a dynamic platform for budding writers to express their imagination, originality, and command over language through impromptu creative writing.

The event was adjudicated by eminent academicians, Dr. Kirtika Singh, Assistant Professor of English at Allahabad Degree College and Head of the Department of English, and Dr. Mrityunjay Rao, Assistant Professor in the Department of English and Modern European Languages at the University of Allahabad, Prayagraj.
A moment of immense pride for Saint John’s Academy came when Udvita Kesarwani secured the Third Position in the Sub-Junior Category, bringing laurels to the institution through her remarkable performance.
The judges and organizers appreciated the discipline, confidence, and conduct of the students. The event not only celebrated the art of writing but also inspired young minds to think deeply, observe keenly, and express fearlessly.
The esteemed presence of Rev. Father Walter D’ Silva added dignity to the occasion as he motivated the participants to continue nurturing their creative abilities.
The programme concluded on a patriotic note with the singing of the National Anthem, leaving behind memories of inspiration, creativity, and healthy literary competition.
