Independence Day 2026

On August 15, 2026, Saint John’s Academy marked the nation’s 80th Independence Day, with the Directors, the Principal, the Vice-Principal, 15 UP BN NCC Prayagraj, students and teachers in attendance.

The completion of 79 years of independence was celebrated with great patriotic fervour. The ceremony began with the hoisting of the Tricolour by the Director of the Institute, Mr. C.V. Innes. Other notable activities included a Hindi speech by Anushka Bhardwaj; a patriotic song, “Neel Gagan Mein Ek Chand Hai,” by the choir members, celebrating the spirit of diversity; an English speech by Indrani Bhattacharya; and an inspirational address by the Director, Mr. C.V. Innes, highlighting the need to understand our roles and responsibilities in building an even stronger nation.

The programme concluded with a thank you message by Gaurang Srivastava. The day filled the entire SJA family with a festive spirit.
