Saint John’s Academy conducted its Co-Curricular Activities for Classes IX to XII on 29th and 30th July 2026, with students competing under two categories — Category A for Classes XI and XII, and Category B for Classes IX and X — representing the four Houses: Eagle, Tiger, Panda and Dolphin.
On the first day, 29th July, the proceedings opened with Voice Box, a Group Discussion in which two participants from each House built collaboratively on a topic given on the spot, judged by Mr. Amlaan Kr. Singh and Ms. Arunima Joshi. This was followed by Brushless Splash, a poster-making competition in which entrants were required to apply paint using media other than brushes, and Face Painting, both adjudicated by Dr. Dharmendra Kumar and Mr. Santosh Kumar. Likhavat, the Hindi Creative Writing event, was judged by Mr. Md Arish. In Dialectica, the English Debate, two speakers from each House argued for and against a motion revealed on the spot; the event was adjudicated by Dr. Sadaf Siddiqui with Mr. Vijjwal Singh serving as moderator. Versify(English), in which participants wrote and recited an original poem on a theme given on the spot, was judged by Ms. Parul Srivastava and Mr. Shubhankar Kumar. The day concluded with Pitch Perfect, a Tech Start-Up pitching event open only to Category A, in which teams presented an original business idea to a panel led by Dr. Nilesh Anand Srivastava.
The second day, 30th July, began with the extempore speaking events — JAM for Category A and HAM for Category B — both conducted by Mr. Dhruv Raj Sharma, in which speakers had to hold forth on a surprise topic without repetition, hesitation or deviation. This was followed by Frame The Truth, a short documentary film competition judged by Dr. Amarnath Kumar and Dr. Hari Om, and, for Category B, Botbattle, a robotics event in which teams built and ran robots through an obstacle course, judged by Mr. Saurabh Rawat and Mr. Atul Kumar. Versify (Hindi) was judged by Mr. Shivam Bhagwati and Mr. Bajrangnath Tiwari, while Inkspire, the English Creative Writing event, was judged by Dr. Sadaf Siddiqui. Vivad Vatika, the Hindi Debate, was adjudicated by Mr. Prakhar Shukla and Dr. Saurabh Singh. The two days of competition drew to a close with Brain Brawl, a General Quiz spanning GK, science, mathematics, history, geography, current affairs, sports and entertainment, hosted by Mr. Vijjwal Singh.
