Teachers’ Workshop on “Beyond Grades: Implementing Innovative Ideas for Teachers”

Saint John’s Academy, Prayagraj, organised a teachers’ workshop on “Beyond Grades: Implementing Innovative Ideas for Teachers” on Monday, March 30, 2026. The session was conducted by Mr. Kalpesh Amin, Head – Teaching and Training, in collaboration with Burlington English.

The workshop provided valuable insights into transforming classrooms into dynamic learning environments. It emphasised the importance of integrating innovative teaching strategies with technology, empathy, and global relevance. Teachers were encouraged to adopt student-centred approaches that go beyond traditional methods of instruction and assessment.

A key focus of the session was on understanding and applying diverse assessment techniques. Teachers explored ways to move beyond conventional grading systems and instead focus on holistic development, competencies, and meaningful learning outcomes. The session also highlighted observation techniques and the distinction between curriculum goals, domains, and competencies.

The workshop was interactive and enriching, offering practical strategies that can be implemented in everyday classroom practices. It served as a step forward in enhancing teaching excellence at Saint John’s Academy and reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to nurturing confident, capable, and future-ready learners.
