Saint John’s Academy Secures Second Runner-Up at Josephest 2025
The students of Saint John’s Academy, Prayagraj participated in Josephest 2025 – “An Odyssey Through Art and Intellect”, organised by Saint Joseph’s College, Prayagraj, from 16 to 17 October 2025, between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Themed “Panchtatva Pantheon”, the festival celebrated the harmony of nature’s five forces — Air, Water, Earth, Fire, and Space.
The event commenced with the welcome of the Chief Guest, Colonel Abhishek Singh, an alumnus of Saint Joseph’s College, followed by the ceremonial lamp lighting by Rev. Fr. Walter D’Silva, the Principal, along with other dignitaries. The festival witnessed participation from leading schools across the region and was marked by vibrant energy, creativity, and collaboration.
Representing Saint John’s Academy as the “Earthen Warriors”, a team of twenty-two students performed exceptionally under the able guidance of Mrs. Shahista Bowen and Mr. Jitesh Antony, who prepared and accompanied the team to the venue.
Saint John’s Academy excelled in several events:
- English Debate: Indrani Bhattacharya (11-B) – Best Speaker (Against the Motion); Indrani Bhattacharya and Mansi Pathak (11-A) – Second Prize (Team Award)
- Tech-Trek: Avnil Sanjeev (11-A) and Avinish Gupta (11-A) – Second Prize
- Spell Bee: Aaliya Zainab (11-A) and Mansi Pathak (11-A) – Second Prize
- English Creative Writing: Atharv Shukla (12-A) and Alkama Siddiqui (12-B) – Second Prize
- Inter-o-locution: Joanna V. Emmanuel (11-B) and Anvi Pandey (11-A) – Third Prize
With talent, teamwork, and relentless enthusiasm, Saint John’s Academy, Prayagraj proudly clinched the Second Runner-Up Trophy Overall, bringing honour to the institution. The spirited performance of the students reflected confidence, creativity, and collaboration — values that Saint John’s Academy continues to nurture and celebrate.
