ISC 2026 Farewell

Saint John’s Academy organised a farewell programme in honour of the outgoing ISC 2026 batch in a warm and dignified atmosphere. The programme commenced with a welcome speech delivered by Indrani Bhattacharya of Class XI-B, who greeted the gathering and set the tone for the event. This was followed by a poem titled Fare Thee Well, recited by Gaurang Srivastava of Class XI-A, which reflected the emotions of gratitude, memories, and good wishes for the departing students.

A cultural dance presentation titled Spirit of Heritage was then performed, showcasing tradition and unity. The programme continued with an interactive game conducted by Gaurang Srivastava and Prince Eklavya of Class XI-A, which added a sense of involvement and cheer among the students. A farewell speech was delivered by Avinish Gupta of Class XI-A, expressing admiration, appreciation, and best wishes for the outgoing batch.

A video presentation was screened thereafter, featuring moments of the outgoing students from various school events, bringing back fond memories and evoking a sense of nostalgia. This was followed by the Head Boy’s speech, in which he conveyed his thoughts, experiences, and wishes for his peers as they prepared to embark on a new phase of life.

One of the highlights of the programme was the announcement of the results of Mr and Ms SJA by Mr Souren Barori. Kunwar Yuvraj Singh was declared Mr SJA and Shubee was declared Ms SJA. The runner-up positions were secured by Ankur Singh and Ayushi Pandey. This segment was met with enthusiasm and applause from the audience.

The ceremony featured an interactive series of games organized by a dedicated group of students including Gaurang Srivastava, Prince Eklavya, Anvi Pandey, Anamika Singh, and Arreba Fazal, all from class 11-A. These three games brought a lively energy to the afternoon, challenging the outgoing batch with tasks centered on the recognition of iconic characters through their famous dialogues and the identification of popular songs through their lyrics. The segment served as a wonderful bridge between the formal proceedings, allowing the students of the ISC 2026 batch to enjoy a final few moments of lighthearted camaraderie with their juniors.

The cultural segment continued with a dance performance titled Legacy in Motion, symbolising continuity and the lasting impact of the outgoing batch on the institution. The vote of thanks was proposed by the Principal, Dr Zareen Rizvi, who appreciated the efforts of the organisers and extended her best wishes to the students for their future endeavours. The programme concluded with a closing speech by Indrani Bhattacharya of Class XI-B, marking the end of a memorable and meaningful farewell ceremony.
